Below, are some questions we get asked. However, we definitely prefer to speak with you personally
so all of your questions can get answered! Please do not hesitate to call.....we love to talk about our programs! What is the Session Schedule for 2010-2011 See navigation bar to the left and click on that page ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ - What class should I sign my child up for? The American
Eagles program is based upon age when dealing with our pre-school students(Munchkins) and skill/equipment
mastery when assigning recreational (1st grade and older) students. If you are signing up a four year old student, they
should go into a "4-K" class. A nine year old that has never done gymnastics before, should sign up for
the "Novice" level of the recreational program. If in doubt, a simple call to AEG
can place your child in the correct class and level.
- Can my child start in a program after
a session has already begun? Absolutely! Provided that there are still openings at the
specific class day, time and level that you are requesting, we would be more than happy to place your child in that class.
From a tuition standpoint, AEG would charge you the $35.00 annual fee, plus
the prorated tuition based upon the number of classes remaining in the session.
- What attire
should my child wear to class? Most girls and boys attend American
Eagles classes dressed in "gym-type" shorts and a t-shirt. Leotards are fine for the girls,
though not required. Everything is carpeted and padded within the gym. Most students will find that bare feet
will allow them to grip the equipment and give them better traction when running and tumbling.
- Does American
Eagles sell leotards? American Eagles offers a pro-shop
where we sell consigned, professional grade leotards, t-shirt, shorts, gymbags, mats, etc. New items are delivered to
AEG approximately every three weeks, so, if you see something you like, buy
it before it goes back to the manufacturer! Our prices on these items are typically far below normal
retail prices at stores or other clubs.
- Can my child bring a friend to class? If the
class size/ratios allow an additional student, AEG would be thrilled to have
a new student take a trial class. A reservation must be made prior to the class and the student must bring with
them, a parent signed AEG waiver form that can be found in the Registration
Form page.
- Is the lobby air-conditioned and are there drink/snack machines available?
YES!
- Do we have a foam-filled pit? OF COURSE WE DO!!
