Recreational Gymnastics
First Grade age (6) and older
All
levels of these AEG programs stress the importance of mastery of
fundamental skills on each of the Olympic events.
Three basic principles rule the lesson plans....safety, fun and skill mastery.
Weekly lessons stress
the progressions on each event that have been proven to be essential for overall safety
and development of each child. A typical
child attends classes once or twice weekly and advancement from
one level to the next is determined by mastery
of specific skills.
Evaluation cards and special awards are given
out to all students at the end of each 8 week term rewarding
their progress and efforts. Everyone is a winner and all students go home with unique
awards and feelings of accomplishment!
